The lake at Lake View showing the H&F tracks and power lines at the right.  The lake started as several goldfish ponds that were joined to create the lake by Mr. Remsburg, owbner of the Lake View Casino and Hotel. These were just one of many goldfish farmers in the Lewistown, Mountain Dale, Catoctin Furnace and Thurmont area.
