The Hagerstown and Frederick Trolley meets a Western Maryland passenger train in May 1940. The number of individuals standing along side the tracks may indicate that this is photo was taken during a rail fan excursion. In this view looking East from the Carroll Street crossing you can see the WMRR Station at the left with Hobo Woods behind the building, the Thurmont Milling Company at the right just above the trolley cars and Boundary Avenue at the far right.
