This is an aerial view of East Main Street showing the Thurmont Elementary School at the top right center and the Thurmont Senior center building just across the street. To the left of the school is Hammaker Street ending at Locust Drive. To the left of Hammaker is Orchard Drive with Meadow Lane on the opposite side of the street. At the far left can be seen Mayor James Black's residence with the driveway around it, this is now the Thurmont Municipal Office. At the bottom right corner are the Little League baseball fields.
