This is the Direct To You Gas Station on North Church Street when it was owned by Vernon Myers. This was before Vernon built his new gas station at the Rte. 15 and North Church Street intersection when the Rte 15 byoass was put in. This building remains almost unchanged and is now owned by the Langon family from Westminster. Vernons new Shell Station is long gone and once sat where the Thurmont Burger King in now located.
