Beall's Express was located at 210 Boundary Avenue where Lawyer's Gateway Automotive is now located. Charlie Beall ran the Express service and had several trucks with trailers running freight from his depot. This is Otto Beall's 1939 Chevrolet pick up truck parked in front of Beall's Express on Nov. 15, 1948. Otto was Charlie Beall's father.To the left can be seen the freight building at the Western Maryland Railway Station and at the right is one of the houses on Lombard Street. Just behind the cab can be seen the Thurmont Mill.
