Who remembers Baxter's Store on Church Street? This ad is from the Oct. 8, 1925 Catoctin Enterprise. Have a look at those prices! Does anyone know when Baxter's opened for business, when they closed or anything else about the business. I think they were located in the building that stood between the Creeger House and the tan brick house (Telephone Exchange) near the square.
