This is an earlier view of Apples Church with the second row of windows in place and the higher roof. Note that the two distinctive stones on the corner, a white stone above a darker stone appear to be about midway up the corner of the wall. In newer views of the church those stones apper to be about 3/4 of the way up the corner. This photo was taken before the entry vestibule was added, the roof lowered and the second row of windows filled in. The card has C. R. R. Beck, Thurmont, Md. on the tag at the bottom.
