In this detail East Main Street is at the left and Carroll Street runs to the right at the slight curve. At the far left can be seen the old teo story brick school building where Claire Frock would eventually be built. The school is typically seen from the front and the wing at the rear is usually not seen. On the corner of East Main and Carroll stands the Black Furniture and Funeral Home building. his building hosed the Blackbusiness form many years before becoming Pryor's Antiques in the early 1950', it was a laundry for mny years and now (2020) houses a tattoo business. To the left of teh Black building is the large white block like H&F Railway Electric Substation. at the other side of the substatin waa where the H&F Trolley Station stood. You can see the trolley tracks cutting across to the rigth side of the image and the Turmont Ice Company building abov the tracks. The open space to the right is where the GHC carnival grounds are now located.
