This photo shows Hagerstown & Frederick RR Car No 171 stopped at Catoctin Furnace on June 15, 1940. 
The notes on the back of the photo show that the Motorman is Larry Davis and that the car was built in 1919 by the Brill Company. The notes indicate that the car is on a "News Paper Run", a surprising variety of items were carried by the H&F including milk, freight, fish, passengers and evidently newspapers.
