Here is a neat little envelope from Wayne Hooper. It is a donation envelope from the Warner Hospital in Gettysburg. The outside of the envelope features a pristine three-cent Liberty First Class stamp. This probably dates the envelope to between 1954 and 1958.

I am sure that the majority of Thurmont residents have been to the Gettysburg Hospital for either treatment or as a visitor. When we were kids it was known as the Annie M. Warner Hospital. It has really grown over the years and now no longer resembles the hospital both of my kids were born in. The maternity wing is still there but it now serves other purposes and it is overshadowed by the newer sections of the building.  Check out the next image for a view of the inside featuring prices you will not believe!
