"Aurora Cottage" at 513 East Main Street showing 8-room annex added by Charles C. Waters in 1897. Home built in 1894-1895 for Sallie K. Boyce and husband, Water Street jeweler, Eber Auginbagh. Though Chas. C. Waters purchases the home from the Auginbaughs, his partner Charles E. Cassell resides there operating a summer boarding house until 1907 when the home is sold. Waters repurchases the property in 1911 and moves his family there from Fredericktowne. No longer taking boarders, Waters has the "Annex" he constructed separated from the house and moved next door to 601 E. Main Street which he rents our for 8 years before it is sold in 1919. Both houses survive today.
