A print of a damaged Beck negative showing the Western Maryland Train Station. This view was probably taken from the second floor of Stocksdale's Mill. To the left can be seen one of the three water towers with it's watering pipe hanging from the side a second water tower can be seen just over the engine. There is a West bound train coming in to the station with residents and wagons awaiting the train's arrival. To the right can be seen what would become the H&FRR siding curving up from the bottom right corner. At this time the line is still the Monocacy Valley RR or Washington Frederick & Gettysburg RR and not yet electrified.
