Looking up through the square to North Church Street.  The Thurmont Bank building is at the left and Osler Excellsior Building is on the far left side of the intersection. To the right of the Osler building can be seen the spire of St. John's Lutheran Church as it appeared before the building was remodeled. Just visible behind the trees to the right are the porches of the Gilbert House.
